Court Usage
COURT AVAILABILITY - Pickleball courts may be reserved by any Leisure World resident (or their guests). Details and court layout, below.
OPEN PLAY / PADDLES UP - Members only, from 08:00 - 12:00, Mon.- Sat. Show up, put your paddle up and play!
ROUND ROBINS - Courts are reserved Mon-Sat by skill level or social group for members only. Schedule and how to signup, below.
CLUB RATINGS - Find out how to get officially rated to determine your level for the rated Round Robins.
Pickleball courts may be reserved by any Leisure World resident (or their guests).
Go to CourtReserve to see current availability and make your reservation (registration required). See the CourtReserve Info page if you need assistance with how to reserve a court.
Courts may be booked after 9:00 am, for up to 10 days in advance.
Courts #13 & #14 are open to any LW Resident and their guests from 8am-5pm as paddles up and cannot be reserved.
Lucy (ball machine) can only be used on courts #1-8, & #11 (electricity avail.)
Note Hours of use:
Courts 1-8: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm (Oct through April) / 6:00 am - 9:00 pm (May-Sept)
Courts 9-16: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, year round.
Courts are closed for cleaning on a rotating basis (2nd/4th wk of month) at lowest usage times, and are not available for approximately 1/2 hour.
Members Only, Mon. thru Sat., 8am-noon.
This is an easy way for members to get in some play time, practice your skills and meet other members. Show up, put your paddle up, and play ball!
The courts are reserved Monday through Saturday, by skill level, as shown.
Courts marked with * are available until 11:00 am, after which time they may be reserved by members from 11:00-noon.
Beginner: Novice to ‘lower level Intermediate”: Any player may play on the these courts during open play. However, if you are not a beginner, you MUST be prepared to play a softer game.

Challenge Courts: Open to any level, this gives players a chance to up their game, and challenge each other. More info HERE.
Walk-On Courts: Two Courts are available (Courts 13 & 14) between 8 AM and 5 PM on a first come first served basis with no reservation required. Open to any LW Resident and their guests.

For Members Only. Round Robins are a great way to get the largest number of similarly-skilled people on the courts!

To Register for a Round Robin in CourtReserve:
1) Log In to Court Reserve.
See the CourtReserve Info page if you need assistance with how to register for a Round Robin (listed as an Event in CourtReserve).
Note: To address the issues caused by no-show’s or late arrivals, a 2 strikes-and-you’re-out policy will be implemented. See more HERE.
To Cancel a Registration in Court Reserve:
Go to “My Bookings”
Find the reservation you cant to cancel and click on “Edit Reservation”
Click on “Cancel Reservation”
RR Skill Level
RR labeled “Social” is open to any club member and members are encouraged to play accordingly with the published guidance. It will be up to the RR coordinators and players to determine “best fit”. It should be considered normal for players to move up or down as the talent pool of each RR changes as the season progresses.
Beginners Social
For Those just learning.
Intermediate Social
For players who have a basic understanding of the game and are learning strategy.
Advanced Social
For players who are around a traditional 3.5+ rating and want to improve their game with the possibility of obtaining an official rating down the line.
3.5 RATED
Only open to those players who have obtained a club recognized rating.
4.0+ RATED
Only open to those players who have obtained a club recognized rating.
Club Ratings
Club members must be rated in order to play in Rated Round Robins. Supporting documentation is required.
There is no rating requirement for 2.5/3.0 level members.
The club recognizes the following:
UTPR - Official USA
DUPR - Official Canada (Pickleball Canada just adopted this as their official rating system this year).
APPL - Arizona Pickleball Players League.
Outside certified ratings testing approved by the club.
